Metropolitan Bank & Trust Co.’s ORIX METRO Leasing and Finance Corp. has appointed Angelo Z. Padua as the new president, effective July 1, 2024.
Padua, who has been with the company for over 28 years, will replace Antonio R. Ocampo, Jr., who will take on a new role within the Metrobank Group.
Additionally, Padua has been elected to several key committees, including the executive committee.
“With his depth of experience in leasing, dealer management, and operational strategy; his passion for serving customers and his commitment to empowering micro, small and medium enterprises; and his track record of developing and inspiring his team, Mr. Padua is the right choice to continue and build on what Antonio R. Ocampo Jr. and senior management have done in leading ORIX METRO towards a more sustainable growth,” Anthony Paul C. Yap, chair of ORIX METRO, said in a statement.
