Bloomberry’s Thomas Arasi retires after 11 years as president, COO

Thomas Arasi

Tycoon Enrique Razon Jr.’s Bloomberry Resorts Corp. (BLOOM) disclosed the retirement of Thomas Arasi as president, chief operating officer (COO), and member of the board of directors, effective Dec. 17 this year.

Arasi steps down after 11 years of leadership at Bloomberry and its subsidiary, Bloomberry Resorts and Hotels Inc. (BRHI), citing personal reasons.

The gaming and hotels giant did not immediately name a successor on Tuesday.

Since joining in 2013, Arasi played a pivotal role in Bloomberry’s growth, leveraging his extensive experience, including past leadership roles as CEO of Marina Bay Sands (2009-2011) and senior executive positions at InterContinental Hotels Group and Tishman Hotel Corp.

His tenure helped solidify Bloomberry’s position in the integrated resort and gaming industry. Arasi holds a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Administration from Cornell University.
