Rasal will step away from the retail banking segment on Oct. 1 and formally leave Security Bank on Dec. 31 after more than five years with the lender, with Lee taking direct oversight of retail in the interim.
The shake-up comes with another departure as senior vice president and deposits business group head Jonathan Diokno leaves Security Bank on Nov. 1 for personal reasons.
“The strategy has been set. Our priority now is execution. These leadership alignments strengthen accountability across the Bank and ensure we’re positioned to deliver on the commitments we’ve made to our stakeholders,” Lee said.
New customer chiefs
Executive vice president Hirofumi Umeno becomes chief customer officer for wholesale and senior vice president Ma. Patricia Tan chief customer officer for retail, while executive vice presidents Leslie Cham and Yvonne Joanna Marcelo become branch coverage head and wholesale coverage head, respectively.
Products and markets
Senior vice president Pamela Edejer becomes wholesale lending product head, executive vice president Price Edward Yap financial markets product head, senior vice president Rene Alan Aguirre investments product head, and senior vice president Orencio Andre Ibarra III trading and treasurer.
Tech gets reshaped
Four other changes take effect Oct. 1: senior vice presidents Maris Lou Velicaria, Vivek Yadav, Amaneci Grace De Silva and Prakash Mahajan take on new roles across credit operations, payments technology and digital customer experience.
