His career includes key leadership roles in major financial institutions across Asia, including Temasek Holdings, Barclays Singapore, OCBC Bank, Dymon Asia Capital, and Citibank, where he specialized in foreign exchange, government bonds, and portfolio management.

A De La Salle University graduate in Applied Mathematics (Actuarial Science), Bengco also holds a Master’s in Business Management from the Asian Institute of Management.

In another high-profile hire, Rufus Pinto has been named senior vice president and head of enterprise services, effective March 3, 2025.
