Tan replaces Atty. Darlene Marie B. Berberabe and will serve on MacroAsia’s corporate governance, audit, compensation, risk management, and mining committees, the company said following its special board meeting on July 10.
With over 40 years of leadership experience, Tan holds multiple board positions, including with Regatta Holdings, Thames International School, and the Solar Village Foundation.
She is also an advocate for women in business through the Makati Business Club’s Women in C-Suites group and the Young Presidents’ Organization, where she currently serves as Athena Champion for the Philippine chapter.
Tan earned her interdisciplinary studies degree from Ateneo de Manila University and completed executive programs at the Asian Institute of Management and Stanford University.
MacroAsia also named Evelyn R. Cabug as its new chief audit executive, replacing Rubi C. Pioquinto. Cabug, a certified public accountant, has served as the company’s financial controller since 2015 and brings over 40 years of experience in finance, compliance, and operations across construction, hospitality, aviation, and retail sectors.
