Victor Aliwalas, a former actor with media giant GMA Network in the mid-2000s, has carved out a high-powered career in the business world.
Based on an April 8 notice with the Philippine Stock Exchange, he was named chief revenue officer of newly created stock brokerage firm WeCap Financial.
Launched last February, WeCap is led by president and nominee Job Ambrosio, with directors Ricky Palou, Ray Alimurung, Eduardo “Junie” Banaag Jr., and Adolfo Reyes. It was born out of the pandemic-era closure of BDO Nomura Securities Inc., whose trading rights it acquired in 2021.
Aliwalas adds to a professional resume that includes serving as president and CEO of Multisys Technologies, and as vice president at PLDT Enterprise, where he handled over $100 million in tech and BPO accounts while helping scale the country’s data center footprint.
He is also co-founder of global ventures like WAGMI Solutions, NanoForge, and the Data Center Association of the Philippines.
