The Ty family-led conglomerate GT Capital Holdings Inc. (GT Capital) is reshaping its leadership team in its property subsidiary, Federal Land Inc., and its joint venture with Nomura Real Estate Development Co. Ltd., Federal Land NRE Global (FNG), effective Jan. 1, 2025.

William Thomas F. Mirasol, currently president of Federal Land and FNG, has been promoted to vice-chair of Federal Land while retaining his role as president of FNG.

Jose Mari H. Banzon, currently finance director of Federal Land, will assume the role of president of the property firm.

Mirasol’s rising star

Mirasol, with over 31 years of real estate experience, joined Federal Land in 2019 and led it to award-winning success while forging global partnerships.

He previously served as chief operating officer and senior vice president of Ortigas & Co. from 2016 to 2018 under Ayala Land.

“Mr. Mirasol will continue to oversee Federal Land’s strategic international partnerships and joint ventures with leading global brands and corporations,” GT Capital said.
