The reshuffle elevates finance executive Caroline C. Causon into a larger operating role while moving longtime executive Christian Razon Gonzalez toward strategy-focused responsibilities.
“Christian will focus on key areas that the company is giving the utmost priority to, which include global yield and operating expense management, business development initiatives, and IT transition,” said Enrique Razon Jr., the chair and president of ICTSI.
ICTSI is the most valuable company in the benchmark Philippine Stock Exchange index, with a market capitalization of nearly P1.8 trillion after its shares climbed 5.42 percent to P875 apiece on Wednesday.
Causon takes the wheel
Causon will become chief administrative officer on July 1 while retaining her role overseeing global corporate planning and financial services across ICTSI’s international network.
Causon is one of ICTSI’s most senior finance executives, overseeing global corporate planning and financial services while serving on the boards of multiple subsidiaries across the group’s international network.
Before joining ICTSI’s top management ranks, she held senior assurance and advisory positions at firms affiliated with Ernst & Young and KPMG.
Gonzalez shifts to big picture strategy
At the same time, Gonzalez will move to a senior adviser role, focusing on business development, operating costs, yield management, technology transition and major projects.
“Christian will focus on key areas that the company is giving the utmost priority to, which include global yield and operating expense management, business development initiatives, and IT transition,” chairman and president Enrique Razon Jr. said.
Gonzalez has long been one of ICTSI’s most influential executives, holding leadership and board positions across ICTSI’s global network of ports, logistics and infrastructure businesses.
