The appointment comes as the award-winning firm marks its 20th anniversary, signaling a renewed push for growth and innovation in an increasingly complex media landscape.
Seasoned leader
Saracho, an Accredited in Public Relations (APR) professional under the Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP), is widely recognized for his expertise in media relations, stakeholder engagement, crisis communications, and strategic messaging.
Before joining Comm&Sense, he served as vice president and head of the veterans affairs office at Philippine Veterans Bank, where he led programs supporting veterans and key stakeholders.
He also previously worked as communications director of the Millennium Challenge Account–Philippines, overseeing messaging for major infrastructure and anti-poverty initiatives funded by the U.S. Millennium Challenge Corp.
Saracho’s career spans multiple sectors, including government, development work, and media. He held technical roles at the Department of Finance, contributing to economic policy and international development programs.
He began his career as a business reporter, covering banking, finance, and economic affairs.
Industry voice
A two-term president of the PRSP, Saracho continues to serve on its board of trustees and was recently elected to the board of trustees of the Global Alliance in Asia and the Pacific (GAP).
Comm&Sense CEO Jaeger Tanco said Saracho’s broad experience positions him well to lead the firm at a time when organizations face rapidly evolving communication challenges.
“Andy is a communicator who understands both the craft and the larger context in which communication operates,” Tanco said. “His experience across journalism, government institutions, development programs, and corporate organizations gives him a keen perspective on how narratives shape institutions and public trust.”
Managing director Charlotte Reyes said Saracho’s appointment strengthens the firm’s ability to deliver data-driven and insight-led communication strategies.
