The new role places him alongside his grandfather, taipan Lucio Tan, who was also reelected as MacroAsia chair and CEO during the company's annual stockholders' meeting on May 14, 2026.
The appointment adds another major listed company role to Tan’s growing portfolio, which already includes serving as president and chief operating officer of LT Group, PAL Holdings and Tanduay Distillers.
He also holds board seats in Philippine Airlines, Philippine National Bank, Eton Properties and several MacroAsia-related companies tied to the group’s aviation and logistics operations.
His younger brother, Kyle Ellis Tan, also remains active within the group and continues to serve as MacroAsia director and treasurer alongside other positions across Lucio Tan-led firms.
MacroAsia also appointed independent director Christina C. Tan, who is not related to the Lucio Tan family, replacing Darlene Marie B. Berberabe.
A veteran business executive, Christina Tan is president of Suy Sing Commercial Corp. and founder of Easy Day Shop, with over four decades of experience in the wholesale, retail and logistics sectors.
