Insider Spotlight
The 7,320-square-meter multi-user warehouse is strategically located in Metro Manila’s National Capital Region with direct access to the South Luzon Expressway via Sucat, placing it near key business districts and transport routes.
The facility is designed with a nearly 20-meter high ceiling and full insulation, enabling efficient storage and flexible logistics operations for multiple clients.
Why it matters
The new site expands Rhenus’ footprint in the Philippines, where the company already operates seven facilities across Manila, Cagayan de Oro, and Davao.
The expansion strengthens nationwide coverage while improving integration with the firm’s global logistics network across Asia-Pacific and beyond.
The investment also signals growing competition among logistics providers seeking to capture demand from manufacturing, consumer goods, and e-commerce supply chains in the Philippines.
What’s inside
The warehouse was built with high safety and security standards, including optical beam smoke detectors, sprinkler systems, mechanical cross ventilation, and a fully gated compound.
Security features include 24-hour guards, full CCTV monitoring with 60-day video retention, and an intruder alarm system.
Sustainability features include LED lighting, skylights that maximize natural illumination, and provisions for solar panels to help reduce the facility’s carbon footprint.
The warehouse is also working toward ISO certifications covering Quality Management Systems, Environmental Management Systems, and Occupational Health and Safety management.
