Located at Station 0 in Barangay Yapak, the property was developed within Golden TW Realty and Development Corporation’s 23-hectare master plan. KABAN combines an 88-room hotel with gaming, restaurants, wellness facilities and entertainment spaces.
Why it matters
The opening expands Boracay’s tourism offering beyond its traditional beach, dining and nightlife attractions, while supporting Golden TW’s push to establish Station 0 as an inland leisure and entertainment hub.
The six-story KABAN features a PAGCOR-licensed 2,000-square-meter casino floor offering table games, slot machines and electronic gaming. Its accommodations range from boutique rooms to a presidential suite.
“KABAN is more than a destination. It is our promise to bring world-class entertainment and heartfelt Filipino hospitality together, creating a place where culture, leisure and celebration come together,” KABAN president and CEO Kevin Wong said.
What guests get
KABAN has seven specialty restaurants and dining concepts, including Lamii All-Day Dining. Other amenities include SIGLA Spa, a pool deck, VIP Lounge, Kids Playlab, Lobby Café and a Skybar overlooking the island.
The company said about 40 percent of KABAN’s employees are from Aklan, providing a local employment component to the tourism investment.
The bigger picture
Golden TW is also developing Boracay Central, a lifestyle mall scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2026 as part of its broader investment in Station 0.
KABAN, which means “treasure chest” in Filipino, will roll out promotions beginning Sept. 16 offering millions of pesos in prizes. Gaming is limited to guests aged 21 and above and remains subject to responsible gaming rules.
The property’s October grand launch will feature a larger showcase of entertainment, culture and hospitality as KABAN formally establishes its presence in Boracay’s tourism market. —Daxim L. Lucas | Ed: Corrie S. Narisma
