The 680-room Hotel101 Madrid, which opened in March, has surpassed 5,000 guest reviews on Booking.com with a 9.1 out of 10 rating and has reached 100 percent occupancy multiple times, the company said.
Early overseas traction
Madrid is the first Hotel101 operating outside the Philippines and serves as the template for the brand’s international expansion.
The company expects demand to strengthen further ahead of major events in the Spanish capital, including Real Madrid football matches and the city’s inaugural Formula One Grand Prix.
Biggest expansion year
Hotel101 is also beginning to generate recurring revenues from overseas operations as DoubleDragon broadens its hospitality portfolio alongside its malls, offices and industrial warehouses.
The company said 2026 will be its biggest year yet for hotel openings, with 2,229 new rooms scheduled to come onstream across Hotel101 Madrid (680 rooms), Hotel101 Davao (519 rooms), Hotel101 Cebu (548 rooms) and Hotel101 Niseko in Japan (482 rooms).
