The company has introduced “Coke Natin ‘To,” a campaign celebrating the people and shared experiences that have made Coca-Cola part of everyday Filipino life.
At the center of the campaign is a film featuring employees involved in beverage production and distribution, alongside sari-sari store and carinderia owners who bring Coca-Cola products to communities across the country.
The campaign highlights the role of Coca-Cola's value chain in connecting the company with consumers, particularly through small retailers that serve as everyday access points for its beverages.
Part of Filipino culture
“Every bottle that reaches a Filipino home reflects the efforts of many people across our value chain,” Coca-Cola Europacific Aboitiz Philippines president and CEO Chris Pesigan said in a press statement. “This campaign shines a light on their stories and contributions,” he added.
Beyond its distribution network, Coca-Cola is drawing on its longstanding presence in Filipino culture to reinforce its connection with consumers.
Through Coke Studio, the company provides Filipino artists with a platform to showcase Original Pilipino Music and reach wider audiences. Its participation in local festivals also reflects its presence in community celebrations nationwide.
The campaign also highlights Coca-Cola's partnerships supporting livelihood opportunities, community water access and environmental initiatives.
‘Tapon to ipon’ collection program
Among these is “Tapon to Ipon,” the company's nationwide PET bottle collection program that encourages consumers to segregate used plastic bottles for recycling.
Through collection hubs and local partnerships, the initiative aims to make bottle recovery more accessible while keeping recyclable materials in circulation.
Coca-Cola Philippines president Banu Karakullukcu Cetin said the campaign recognizes the contributions of people across the company's operations and communities.
“Every bottle has a story behind it, and these stories belong to the people who make, move, share, and enjoy Coca-Cola,” he said.
The campaign connects these stories with everyday Filipino experiences, from family meals and neighborhood gatherings to fiestas and other celebrations, emphasizing the relationships built around the brand over generations. —Vanessa Hidalgo | Ed: Corrie S. Narisma
