Best Western Plus Metro Clark earns 4-star rating from DOT

Best Western Plus Metro Clark has secured a 4-star hotel rating from the Department of Tourism (DOT), marking a milestone in its push to elevate hospitality standards in Central Luzon.

The recognition was formally conferred on March 27, 2026, during the Tourism Recognition for Enterprises and Stakeholders (TRES) Awards Night hosted by the DOT Region 3 at the hotel’s Premier Ballroom.

Milestone achieved

Prior to the awarding ceremony, the hotel received official confirmation from the DOT that it had earned 822 points under the 2024 National Accommodation Standards (NAS), exceeding the threshold for a 4-star classification.

The rating reflects the property’s compliance with national benchmarks for facilities, service quality, and operational standards, positioning it among the region’s higher-tier accommodations.

Team effort

Owned and operated by Savers Group Holdings Inc. (SGHI), the hotel attributed the recognition to the collective efforts of its workforce.

SGHI executive vice president Justine Shaun Uy, who accepted the award on behalf of the company, said the milestone reinforces the group’s commitment to service excellence.

“This milestone is a testament to our commitment to providing exceptional service, comfortable accommodations, and quality dining experiences,” Uy said. “This certification reminds us to always put our best foot forward in delivering warm Filipino hospitality.”

Leadership view

SGHI chair Jaime “Jack” Uy echoed the sentiment, emphasizing the role of employees in achieving the recognition.

“We are truly grateful to our team, whose dedication and passion have made this recognition possible,” he said. “Their commitment to delivering exceptional service continues to exceed our guests’ expectations.”

He added that the 4-star rating serves as motivation to further raise standards and enhance guest experiences.

Upgraded offering

Originally launched in 2019 as Best Western Metro Clark, the property was rebranded in 2023 as Best Western Plus Metro Clark, reflecting upgraded services and a stronger focus on premium hospitality offerings.

The hotel features 186 rooms, along with modern amenities tailored to both business and leisure travelers.
