Why it matters
The digital-first consumer finance group was named a finalist in two Asia FinTech Awards 2026 categories — FinTech of the Year and LendTech of the Year — at the Aug. 21 ceremony in Singapore.
The recognition comes as Skyro expands products designed around how customers manage changing financial circumstances.

Its Flexi feature allows borrowers to adjust loans entirely within the Skyro app. Customers can move a due date, lower a monthly payment when finances are tight, or increase payments to finish a loan sooner without contacting customer support.
Skyro says 31 percent of eligible users activate Flexi, with more than 42,000 adjustments made each month. Around 130,000 customers have made at least one change, and 87 percent rate the experience positively.
The company says aligning repayments with when customers receive income can help borrowers remain on track and protect their credit standing.
For Skyro, that flexibility is also translating into higher retention and stronger portfolio performance.
What they’re saying
“Being recognized by the Asia FinTech Awards reflects the impact of our efforts to create more flexible and customer-focused lending solutions,” said Skyro co-founder Nasim Aliev in a statement.
“For us, innovation starts with understanding how people actually manage their finances and building products that can respond to those realities. This recognition encourages us to continue making financial services more accessible, flexible, and relevant to Filipinos.”
The big picture
Skyro has now disbursed P38 billion through more than 2.7 million loans and reached over 7 million mobile app users, signaling growing demand for digital consumer finance products in the Philippines.
“As financial needs and customer expectations continue to evolve, lenders have to evolve with them,” said co-founder Arsen Liametov.
“We remain focused on developing products and technology that give customers greater control, improve their experience, and expand access to responsible financial services. Being named a finalist in two categories motivates our team to continue pushing that work forward.” —Ramon C. Nocon | Ed: Corrie S. Narisma
