The firm was named Philippine Law Firm of the Year at the ALB Philippine Law Awards 2026 on Sept. 24, the highest distinction for a law firm at the annual event.
“The timing could not be more meaningful,” DivinaLaw founder and managing partner Nilo T. Divina said. “As we celebrate our 20th anniversary, these awards remind us how far we have come—from our humble beginnings to where we are today.”
More than one win
DivinaLaw also won Energy and Resources Law Firm of the Year for the first time and Immigration Law Firm of the Year for the third time, following earlier wins in 2018 and 2025.
The firm made the shortlist in six other practice areas, spanning arbitration and intellectual property to litigation, tax and technology, media and telecommunications.
Partner Jay-r C. Ipac was also a finalist for Data Privacy and Protection Lawyer of the Year.
From 2006 to today
Founded in 2006, DivinaLaw has expanded into a full-service firm with offices in Makati and Cebu City and more than 100 lawyers across its litigation, corporate and energy practices.

The ALB Philippine Law Awards, now in their 11th year, are organized by Asian Legal Business and presented by Thomson Reuters, with an independent panel of senior legal industry leaders choosing the winners.
