The inaugural flight, PR 2018, departed Ninoy Aquino International Airport on Jan. 15, 2025, aboard an 86-seater De Havilland Dash 8-400 aircraft.
A send-off ceremony at NAIA Terminal 2 marked the occasion.
This new route positions Cauayan as a gateway to Isabela province, known for its vibrant festivals like Bambanti and Gawagaway-yan.
“We are pleased to introduce our new Manila-Cauayan-Manila route to serve the residents of Isabela province,” said PAL Express president Rabbi Vincent Ang.
