The Vietnamese carrier will begin direct flights between Clark International Airport and Ho Chi Minh City on Nov. 10, 2026, a statement on Wednesday showed.
Three flights a week
Flights will operate three times a week every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, adding another international destination to Clark’s growing network.
Vietjet flight VJ1871 will leave Clark at 5:05 p.m. and arrive in Ho Chi Minh City at 6:35 p.m., while the return flight will depart at 12:30 p.m. and land at Clark at 4:05 p.m.
Luzon International Premiere Airport Development Corp. president and CEO Noel Manankil said Vietjet’s arrival is a “strong vote of confidence” in Clark and its ability to serve the large market beyond Metro Manila.
Gateway to Vietnam
Ho Chi Minh City also gives passengers access to Vietjet’s domestic network, including connections to Da Nang, Nha Trang, Phu Quoc and Hue.
Vietjet is kicking off the route with promotional one-way economy fares starting at $75, including taxes and fees, for travel until March 31, 2027, subject to blackout dates and other restrictions.
