The move comes nearly two years after Cebu Pacific acquired AirSWIFT from Ayala Land for P1.75 billion, a deal aimed at expanding its presence in key leisure destinations, including El Nido in Palawan.
Cebu Pacific said there will be no changes to AirSWIFT’s existing flight schedules and services during the transition, with flights to and from El Nido continuing as scheduled.
All AirSWIFT flights previously carrying the T6 code will be re-designated as DG flights under Cebgo’s operations.
AirSWIFT operates routes linking Clark and El Nido, as well as flights connecting El Nido with Boracay, Bohol, Cebu and Coron.
The integration brings AirSWIFT’s operations fully under Cebu Pacific’s airline platform, simplifying fleet and network management within the group.
When Cebu Pacific acquired AirSWIFT in 2024, the budget carrier said the transaction would help improve connectivity to high-growth tourism destinations while broadening access to El Nido through lower-cost travel options.
Cebu Pacific currently serves 35 domestic and 26 international destinations through its mainline and subsidiary airline operations.
