What they're saying
“Being the highest-ranked Philippine company is a meaningful recognition of the progress we’re making,” Security Bank president and CEO Victor Lee said in a statement.
“It reflects the strength of our business, the commitment of our people, and the trust our clients place in us. As we look ahead, our focus remains clear: execute our strategy, grow responsibly, and deliver BetterBanking experiences for our customers.”

Employee satisfaction is a key component of the global ranking, which uses large-scale employee surveys alongside financial performance data and environmental, social and governance indicators.
“What makes this recognition especially meaningful is that our people helped shape it,” said Security Bank chief people officer Nerissa Berba.
"Our 'You Matter' employee value proposition guides how we support our people’s growth, well-being, and success. When our people thrive, our customers and our business benefit too.”
The bigger picture
Sustainability transparency accounts for one-third of the assessment, according to a company release. Security Bank also maintains an MSCI ESG Rating of ‘A’, reinforcing its push to integrate sustainability into business decisions.
“Strong performance and responsible growth must go together,” said John David Yap, chief financial officer and Sustainability Committee chairman of Security Bank. “This recognition reinforces the progress we are making in governance, transparency and sustainability, and in embedding these into how we manage risk, allocate capital and build long-term value.”
By the numbers
Security Bank had P1.19 trillion in total assets as of June 30, 2026, with 396 branches and 697 ATMs, Cash Recycler Machines and Cash Acceptance Machines nationwide.
