Movie execs’ bold prediction realized: ‘Hello, Love, Again’ crowned new box office king

“Hello, Love, Again” has made history, earning P930 million worldwide in just 10 days, mirroring the massive success of its predecessor, Hello, Love, Goodbye, five years ago.

The film now holds the title of the highest-grossing Filipino movie, surpassing the P924 million record of Rewind, which was released last year.

InsiderPH’s Insider Info column previously reported that the bold predictions for Hello, Love, Again breaking box-office records were not just hopeful—they were spot on, as the film’s success exceeded all expectations.

Hello, Love, Again achieves international success

The original Hello, Love, Goodbye set box-office records in 2019, earning P880 million worldwide. Its reign lasted four years until it was surpassed by Rewind in 2023.

Internationally, the film premiered in Australia, New Zealand, the US, Canada, Guam, Saipan, and London, entering the US box-office top 10 at number 8 with $2.4 million—the largest opening weekend for a Filipino film in the United States.

Now playing in over 1,000 cinemas worldwide, including 181 in the Middle East, the movie is set to expand to more Asian markets by late November.
