The incentives, unveiled during the second National Housing Expo in Pasay City, include free unit upgrades for qualified buyers purchasing selected studio and one-bedroom condominiums under the company's Mega Condo Upgrade promotion.
Extra perks for buyers
The limited-time promotion is available exclusively at Megaworld's booth during the two-day housing expo, giving prospective homeowners an opportunity to obtain additional property value without paying for the upgrade.
Expo visitors can also participate in the Meg Hotels Raffle, which offers complimentary overnight accommodations at Megaworld Global Hotels & Resorts properties nationwide. Draws are held every 30 minutes throughout the event.
Beyond the expo promotions, Megaworld is extending special rates, preferential pricing and exclusive incentives to qualified Pag-IBIG Fund members purchasing selected ready-for-occupancy condominium units, residential lots and other available property inventories.
Cheaper home financing
Under its partnership with Pag-IBIG Fund, prospective buyers can access promotional housing loan interest rates of 4.5 percent and 5.75 percent, with financing amounts reaching P10 million.
Megaworld will assist buyers in preparing loan applications and submitting documentary requirements, while Pag-IBIG will provide housing loan orientations and counseling.
The arrangement is intended to make residential properties within Megaworld's integrated townships more accessible to Filipino workers and families seeking homeownership.
Expanding homeownership
The partnership was formalized during a ceremony attended by Megaworld president and CEO Lourdes Gutierrez-Alfonso, Pag-IBIG Fund CEO Marilene Acosta and Human Settlements and Urban Development Secretary Jose Ramon Aliling.
The agreement forms part of the government's Expanded Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino or 4PH Program, which encourages private-sector participation in expanding housing opportunities.
For Megaworld, the incentives provide another avenue to attract buyers to its integrated townships, which combine residential developments with offices, shopping centers, hotels, parks and recreational facilities. — Daxim L. Lucas | Ed: Corrie S. Narisma
