AcroCity expands lifestyle, sports ecosystem to boost Bulacan tourism

AcroCity is expanding its integrated lifestyle and business ecosystem in Guiguinto, Bulacan as it moves beyond its original development phase into a more complete destination centered on hospitality, wellness, sports, dining and entertainment, according to its latest media briefing.

Originally launched in 2023 as a commercial, industrial and lifestyle development spanning more than 20 hectares, the project now features operational facilities that were previously planned, while adding new attractions designed to encourage longer visitor stays and repeat visits.

Why it matters

The expansion reflects a growing trend among mixed-use developments to combine accommodations, recreation, healthcare and commercial services into a single destination that can attract tourists, business travelers and local communities while supporting economic activity in surrounding areas.

Among the project's flagship assets is Acro Residences, which has expanded into an 80-room business and leisure hotel with an outdoor swimming pool. The property also houses DX3 Fitness Gym, Kore Klub and RVP Medical & Aesthetic Clinic, positioning the hotel as both an accommodation and wellness hub.

NDW Plaza has likewise evolved from a planned wellness-oriented town center into an operating mixed-use complex offering healthcare, banking, personal care, wellness and event services. Outdoor venue Ang Hardin complements the development by accommodating corporate functions, weddings and social gatherings.

The big picture

Sports has emerged as another growth driver for AcroCity. Mighty Sports Center currently operates five pickleball and badminton courts and will officially open two additional courts for basketball and volleyball on Sept. 27, expanding its facilities to seven courts serving four sports. The development also includes The Xtreme Hustle Fitness Performance Center, reinforcing its fitness and recreation ecosystem.

Dining options within the estate include Mt. Fuji Restaurant, Mighty King Restaurant, Café de Margaux and Flavors from Home, while Dragon Royale adds another entertainment component to the destination. AcroCity's broader portfolio extends to the 15-hectare T12 Polo Land Industrial Estates, supporting its commercial and industrial operations.

“When someone comes to AcroCity for an event, a meal, a game, or an overnight stay, we want them to discover something else while they are here,” Czark Mak EVP Angelo Wongchuking said.
