The initiative, announced via the company’s official Facebook page, is part of a broader effort to manage parking capacity more efficiently and ensure availability for legitimate airport users.
“Following the upgrade of our parking system, we can now offer much lower overnight rates for verified passengers and other legitimate NAIA users,” the company said.
“This system allows us to manage parking more efficiently and make sure it stays accessible for those who truly use the airport.”
How it works
Passengers who want to avail of the discounted rate must follow a three-step verification process:
Once verified, the traveler will be eligible to pay only half the standard overnight parking fee.
Why it matters
The program aims to discourage non-passengers from occupying airport parking slots for extended periods—an issue that has contributed to congestion and reduced accessibility at NAIA’s limited parking facilities.
“Smarter parking helps keep slots available and convenient for the people NAIA was built to serve,” the company said. “Because when systems improve, so should the experience.”
NAIA, the country’s main international gateway, has been undergoing operational improvements under its new private management following a recent public-private partnership agreement with the Philippine government.
