Called GPlan Junior, the new offering is available as an additional line under existing Globe Postpaid Plan 999 and above subscriptions. It is intended for dependents aged 7 to 20 years old, allowing parents and legal guardians to supervise their children's mobile connectivity under a single account.
Globe said the initiative reflects its commitment to helping families navigate an increasingly digital world by combining reliable connectivity with parental oversight.
Family connectivity
For P499 a month, GPlan Junior includes unlimited calls and texts to all networks, 100 minutes of landline calls, 10 GB of all-access data, free access to Messenger Kids and Mobile Legends, and unlimited use of three selected apps, Globe said in a statement.
Subscribers can choose one app from each category.
Under the video category, families may select YouTube Kids, Netflix, Disney+, or Viu. Social app options include Viber and WhatsApp, while gaming choices include PUBG, Call of Duty, Discord, and Roblox.
By linking a child's mobile line to a parent's existing Globe Postpaid account, the service eliminates the need for frequent prepaid reloads or tracking expiring promo subscriptions.
Globe said this allows children and students to stay connected while giving families more predictable monthly spending on mobile services.
Parental oversight
The plan also includes 10 GB of swappable data with a rollover feature, enabling subscribers to customize their data allocation based on their digital needs.
Parents can monitor their child's data consumption through the GlobeOne app, where they can check remaining data allocations, choose preferred unlimited apps, and manage Data Swap options.
According to Globe, these features provide families with greater visibility over mobile usage while encouraging children to develop responsible online habits.

Digital literacy
Beyond mobile connectivity, Globe is also encouraging families to introduce children to responsible financial habits through an exclusive incentive tied to GCash Jr.
Eligible GPlan Junior subscribers who successfully sign up for GCash Jr. may receive up to P500 worth of GCash vouchers.
Globe said the initiative aims to help parents teach children digital financial literacy at an early age by introducing them to supervised money management tools that support saving, spending, and responsible use of digital financial services.
Together, GPlan Junior and GCash Jr. form part of Globe's broader effort to help Filipino families embrace digital technology with greater confidence while promoting responsible digital citizenship among the next generation.
Parents or legal guardians interested in applying may visit any Globe Store and present proof of eligibility, including the dependent's Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) birth certificate and a valid identification card, such as a school ID or passport, to verify the child's age and guardianship. —Ed: Corrie S.
