PLDT and Smart assured their customers that network services remained “operational and resilient”,except in areas affected by commercial power interruption.
Globe said call, text and data services in areas affected by the typhoon remained operational, with isolated cases of interruption due to commercial power outages. It also prepositioned personnel for quick response in case of any network emergency.
“We would like to assure our customers that our network is ready for any potential impact of the typhoon and the enhanced habagat on our infrastructure,” Yoly Crisanto, Globe Chief Sustainability and Corporate Communications Officer, said in a statement.
“PLDT group continues to monitor the situation and has prepositioned mission-critical manpower and resources to respond to communities in need,” said Cathy Yang, first vice president and corporate communications at PLDT and Smart.
