Tycoon Edgar Saavedra’s Citicore Energy REIT Corp. and Citicore Renewable Energy Corporation announced Cosico’s retirement during special meetings, effective Jan. 1, 2026.
At Citicore Energy REIT, she served as chief investor relations officer, while at Citicore Renewable Energy she held responsibilities spanning investor relations, corporate communications, branding, and board-level functions.
What’s next?
Following her retirement from the Megawide-Citicore group, Cosico is building up Alere Consulting, a Philippine-based firm focused on investor relations advisory services.
Inspired by the Latin word alere, meaning to nourish and support, the firm is positioned to help companies sharpen their identity, strengthen their narrative, and communicate with clarity and purpose as they scale.
Alere Consulting is designed to support Southeast Asian companies as they evolve from private enterprises into publicly trusted organizations.
Capital markets focus
The firm will cater to listed companies that do not maintain in-house investor relations teams and are increasingly looking to outsource these functions.
Cosico also plans to work with the Philippine Stock Exchange and the Securities and Exchange Commission to help aspiring SME founders better understand and access the capital markets.
The focus will be on mid-sized enterprises that need guidance as they map out growth roadmaps and long-term listing ambitions.
Experience brought forward
Cosico brings over 30 years of experience across strategic management, corporate finance, investor relations, and corporate communications.
Her work has spanned multi-sector projects covering property development, aviation, telecommunications, branded consumer food manufacturing, construction and infrastructure, and renewable energy.
She has also worked closely with leading local and international commercial and investment banks on both debt and equity capital-raising initiatives and has been recognized by IR Magazine for achievements in the field.
