AXA Philippines' Caloi Santos named top CIO for cybersecurity excellence in insurance

AXA Philippines celebrates its chief information and technology officer,  Caloi Santos, who was named Best Chief Information Officer in the Insurance Industry at the ISOG I Am Secure Cybersecurity Excellence Awards.

This recognition, presented by the Information Security Officers Group (ISOG), honors cybersecurity leaders across sectors for their dedication to safeguarding organizational security and data.

In the award’s second season, ISOG honored 16 top cybersecurity executives across various industries for their exceptional commitment to cybersecurity excellence. 

For Santos, this recognition is a testament to his two-decade career dedicated to advancing information security across multiple sectors, including Procter & Gamble, JG Summit, and now AXA Philippines.

ISOG’s award criteria include leadership, impact on cybersecurity, and community involvement, underlining the awardees' influence in strengthening data protection practices. 

Santos’ leadership has been instrumental in enhancing AXA Philippines’ cybersecurity framework, ensuring minimal security incidents and strong audit results, bolstering AXA’s position as a data security leader.
