Held recently in Singapore, the award recognized InLife’s enduring commitment to delivering inclusive, innovative, and purpose-driven financial solutions to Filipinos for over 114 years.
“InLife’s legacy is built on trust, and this recognition underscores our commitment to nurturing communities, sustaining that trust, and helping Filipinos live ‘A Lifetime for Good’,” said InLife executive chair Nina D. Aguas in a statement. “Our people, our policyholders, and our partners fuel our purpose. We dedicate this award to them.”
Innovation and inclusion
In 2024, InLife deepened its engagement with customers through digital communities such as InLife Convo, which promotes financial literacy, and InLife Thrive, a support hub for corporate group clients.
It also delivered targeted financial solutions through customer segments like InLife Sheroes, the Amorsolo Circle, Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), and emerging markets. These efforts reinforced the company’s drive toward inclusion and empowerment.
Digital leadership and employee engagement
InLife bolstered its digital capabilities with innovations such as a Generative AI chatbot for financial advisors, embedded in its Super Compass App. Internally, it fostered employee engagement through wellness and pride programs, ensuring a motivated workforce aligned with its mission.
The insurer was ranked #1 in Customer Experience among Philippine life insurers in the 2024 KPMG Global Customer Experience Excellence Research, excelling in Empathy, Personalization, Time & Effort, and Resolution.
Sustainability and strategic growth
InLife also pushed forward its ESG agenda, with environmental and social programs led by the InLife Foundation, eco-certified infrastructure in key cities, and a 4-Arrow rating in the ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard.
Strategically, it launched Retire Assure, the country’s first true retirement product based on proprietary research, and acquired 100 percent of Generali Life Assurance Philippines, cementing its industry leadership.
“As we mark our ninth win, we remain driven by the same Filipino heart that inspired our founding more than a century ago,” Aguas added. “We will continue to serve with integrity and compassion—for generations to come.” —Ed: Corrie S. Narisma
