Insider Spotlight
That shared effort was on display during the annual We Are CRK Awards Night, where the airport’s operator, Luzon International Premiere Airport Development (LIPAD) Corp., recognized top-performing airline partners, government agencies, and stakeholders that have helped translate strategy into day-to-day execution.
Why it matters
CRK’s model hinges on reliability, service quality, and partner alignment—factors that increasingly shape airline and passenger choice as Clark positions itself as a key alternative hub north of Metro Manila.
Zoom in
Cebu Pacific, Philippine Airlines, and Asiana Airlines led this year’s airline honorees. Cebu Pacific was named 2025 Partner Airline of the Year for growth and network contribution at Clark. Philippine Airlines earned Best On-Time Performance Airline for consistent punctuality, while Asiana Airlines received the Legacy Partner Airline Award for long-standing support of the airport’s development.
Other recognitions reflected how airlines are differentiating the Clark experience.
Scoot was cited as Most Innovative Airline, Starlux Airlines as Fastest Growing Airline, and HK Express and Nauru Airlines as Emerging Airlines. Emirates and Qatar Airways shared the Gateway to Europe Airline Award, while EVA Air was recognized as Gateway to North America Airline. Jeju Air received the Leisure Lifestyle Airline award, Sunlight Air the Engagement Excellence Award, and Philippines AirAsia the Strategic Relaunch Partner distinction.
Behind the scenes:
The evening’s Wall of Fame Award highlighted teams and institutions that exceed service benchmarks anchored on CRK’s Minimum Performance Specifications and Standards.
Honorees included Plaza Premium Lounge, the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines, the Philippine National Police– Aviation Security EOD and Canine Unit 3, the CRK Customer Experience Team, and the Baggage Handling System Team.
Individual awardees came from frontline government and airline operations, including the Bureau of Customs, Bureau of Immigration, Qatar Airways, and CRK’s Engineering and Maintenance Department—roles critical to keeping passenger flows efficient and secure.
The big picture
Government partners such as BCDA, Clark Development Corp., the Department of Transportation, and the Department of Tourism were jointly named Government Partner of the Year, reinforcing the public-private coordination behind Clark’s expansion.
What’s next
With airlines, regulators, and concessionaires aligned, CRK is betting that consistent execution—not just capacity—will define its next phase of growth and its promise of a seamless passenger experience. —Vanessa Hidalgo | Ed: Corrie S. Narisma
