Reyes-Romero was named recipient of the “Asia’s Modern Hero in Aviation Corporate Communications” award.
“Her work reflects the power of purposeful communication—to build trust, strengthen connections, and bring people together,” Asia’s Modern Hero Awards announced.
“Through her leadership and commitment to excellence, she demonstrates how effective communication can create meaningful impact within an organization and the community it serves,” it added.
Sharing the recognition
Reyes-Romero’s recognition comes at a busy time for Gokongwei family-led carrier, with recent weather-related flight disruptions putting added pressure on its operations and frontline teams.
“I am grateful for this award. But today, my biggest appreciation goes to every Juan who continues to work at a difficult time. This one is ours,” she said in a Facebook post.
Reyes-Romero will receive the award on Sept. 25 at Okada Manila.
