That momentum was reinforced after Seafront Residences, Aboitiz Land’s flagship beachfront development in San Juan, Batangas, was named Best Waterfront Housing Development at the 20th PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards. 

The recognition comes alongside Aboitiz Economic Estates’ LIMA Estate being crowned Best Industrial Development in Asia, underscoring the group’s integrated real estate strategy across residential and industrial segments.

Why it matters

The dual wins point to a development model that links employment hubs with thoughtfully planned housing—an increasingly important value proposition as companies and workers seek communities that support productivity, livability, and long-term growth.

In the middle of this push, Aboitiz Land said in a company statement that Seafront Residences reflects its approach to translating economic estate expansion into standalone lifestyle communities that are designed to mature into vibrant neighborhoods, not just support housing.

The big picture

Situated along the coast of San Juan, Batangas, Seafront Residences is positioned as an affordable luxury leisure community. The development emphasizes low-density living, expansive open spaces, and curated premium amenities that balance refined design with everyday livability. 

Unlike many beachfront projects that focus primarily on land ownership, it adopts a house-and-lot format shaped by placemaking principles that encourage early community formation.

The master plan was developed by global town planning firm DPZ, with homes designed by Budji+Royal Architecture. 

Sustainability, resilience, and long-term stewardship were embedded from the outset to ensure the community remains adaptive and valuable over time.

 With a planned Town Center within Seafront Residences, the development is expected to evolve into a lifestyle and tourism hub, enhancing San Juan’s appeal while supporting local economic activity.
