These honors highlight RLC’s outstanding commitment to sustainability, corporate transparency, and inclusive community development.
The 3G Awards, organized by UK-based Cambridge International Financial Advisory (Cambridge IFA), celebrate organizations that exemplify ethical governance and impactful social responsibility. This year’s theme centered on transformative strategies in health, environment, and community resilience.
Ethical governance, impactful social responsibility
“These recognitions affirm our ongoing commitment to sustainability,” said Kerwin Max S. Tan, chief financial, risk and compliance officer of RLC. “They inspire us to continue creating shared success for every Filipino through the projects we build, the communities we nurture, and the sustainable practices we uphold.”
In addition to the awards, RLC was featured as a case study in the 3G Report Supplement 2025, which commended the company’s holistic approach to environmental governance.
The report spotlighted RLC’s key initiatives, including its nationwide rooftop solar program, partnerships for electric vehicle (EV) charging stations, LEED- and EDGE-certified buildings, and advanced water and waste management systems.
RLove CSR arm
“RLC exemplifies innovative environmental governance,” the report noted. “Its proactive approach to renewable energy highlights its role in combatting climate change.”
RLC’s community engagement is driven by RLove, the company’s CSR arm under Robinsons Land Foundation Inc. Since its establishment in 2020, RLove has focused on four key pillars: environmental sustainability, education, health and wellness, and disaster preparedness. Programs include tree-planting drives, scholarship grants, medical outreach initiatives, and emergency relief for disaster-stricken communities.
The 3G Programme aligns closely with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and RLC’s inclusion in the 3G Report underscores its leadership among global peers advancing responsible development.
Localized solutions, global partnerships
“By spotlighting localized solutions and global partnerships, the 3G Programme amplifies the SDGs and advocates for governance frameworks that prioritize equity and environmental resilience,” wrote Professor Humayon Dar, PhD, founder and editor-in-chief of the 3G Report.
