Most Organized Investor Relations (5th place)
Best Senior Management Investor Relations Support (3rd place)
Strongest Adherence to Corporate Governance (3rd place)
Most Consistent Dividend Policy (1st place)
Best Strategic Corporate Social Responsibility (3rd place)
“We are honored to be recognized by Alpha Southeast Asia, and we are grateful to all those who have continuously placed their trust in us,” said Maria Cristina C. Gotianun, SMPC president, chief operating officer, and chief sustainability officer. “These awards inspire us to further strengthen our commitment to investor relations, corporate governance, and sustainability.”
Alpha Southeast Asia, a Hong Kong-based monthly publication for institutional investors, ranks public companies across the region based on best practices in governance, transparency, financial reporting, social responsibility, and dividend strategies. A total of 36 listed companies in Southeast Asia were recognized this year.
SMPC’s consistent performance in both financial and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) metrics has made it a standout among Philippine companies, the publication noted. —Ed: Corrie S. Narisma
