the 10th Annual Best Managed Fund of the Year Awards — was organized by CFA Society Philippines. It celebrated funds that demonstrated exceptional performance and delivered significant benefits to investors.
The awards underscore Security Bank's excellence in fund management, the bank said in a statement.
In its 10th edition, the event evaluated 170 funds from 16 investment houses, introducing new categories for global feeder funds, local money market funds, and thematic funds, thereby expanding investment options for Filipino retail investors.
The SB Peso Bond Fund was lauded for its robust returns coupled with lower risk, achieved through strategic investments in a diversified mix of Philippine peso bonds, including government securities, corporate bonds, and time deposits, aimed at long-term growth. This fund has consistently been recognized, securing the Best Peso Long-Term Bond Fund award five times (2017, 2021, 2022, 2024, 2025).
Similarly, the SB Philippine Equity Index Fund, awarded Best Peso Equity Index Fund for both 2024 and 2025, has consistently outperformed its peers in the Philippine Stock Exchange Index (PSEi), showcasing excellence in equity fund management and long-term growth potential.
Noel Reyes, chief investment officer and investment division head of Security Bank's Trust and Asset Management Group (TAMG), stated: "We’re deeply honored by this recognition from the CFA Society Philippines.
