The strategy recently gained external validation after the company secured multiple honors at the Asian Management Excellence Awards 2026 and the Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards, recognizing initiatives spanning workforce well-being, investor relations, sustainability, digital innovation and business performance.
Why it matters
Companies are increasingly tying employee engagement, digitalization and sustainability programs to operational resilience and growth, Shell Pilipinas said in a statement.
Shell Pilipinas’ latest recognitions highlight how these efforts are becoming integral to corporate strategy rather than standalone initiatives.
At the Asian Management Excellence Awards 2026, Shell Pilipinas was named Philippines Employee Engagement of the Year – Oil & Gas and Philippines Health and Wellness Initiative of the Year – Oil & Gas for its Be Well program.
The initiative promotes holistic employee well-being through physical, mental and social wellness activities implemented across offices and supply terminals nationwide, anchored on the Filipino value of bayanihan and Shell’s Powering Progress agenda.
Winning programs
At the 2026 Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards, Shell Pilipinas collected 10 awards, including three Gold Stevies.
Among the Gold-winning programs were IR Transformation: Democratizing Investor Access in a Micro-Cap Market, Shell’s 5x2y Story focused on e-commerce growth, and Project PASA, a circular economy initiative that repurposes end-of-use office assets.
Silver Stevie honors went to Shell Lubricants Philippines’ Integrated Stakeholder Engagement Ecosystem, the Shell Lubricants Philippines Marketing Team, Plasticycle Project and Shell LiveWire’s enterprise development program.
Bronze awards recognized digital influencer campaigns for Shell Advance, Helix and Rimula, the Shell Advantage Rewards App, and the Be Well program.
