The digital business services provider's efforts recently earned industry recognition after it was named Sustainability Impact Company of the Year at the 2026 SOLAIA Awards, one of the Philippine IT-BPM sector's highest honors for responsible business leadership.
TP was also named a finalist in the AI Impact Award, Company for Regional Development of the Year, and Talent Transformation Program of the Year categories.
Why it matters
Companies in the IT-BPM sector are increasingly being measured not only by financial performance but also by how they create long-term value through talent development, sustainability and community impact.
"Being recognized as Sustainability Impact Company of the Year is a powerful affirmation of the kind of organization we aspire to be — one where business growth goes hand in hand with creating meaningful impact for people, communities, and the country,” TP in the Philippines CEO Rahul Jolly said in a statement.
“At TP, sustainability is not a separate initiative. It is embedded in how we lead, innovate, develop talent, strengthen communities, and operate responsibly every day."
The company said sustainability remains central to its long-term business strategy, supporting clients while creating economic opportunities, strengthening governance and expanding access to quality employment across the country.
By the numbers
TP also continues to invest in employee well-being through its 24/7 Employee Assistance Program, leadership development initiatives, internal mobility opportunities and mental health programs. These efforts contributed to the company's recognition as a Great Place to Work for eight consecutive years.
The big picture
Diversity and inclusion remain key pillars of TP's sustainability agenda.
Women now occupy 48% of leadership positions, while programs such as TP Women, TP Pride, TP For All, TP LaunchPad and TP Prime support women, LGBTQIA+ individuals, persons with disabilities, students, returning overseas Filipino workers and talents from underserved communities.
Beyond the workplace, TP's Citizen of the World corporate citizenship program mobilized 1,216 employee volunteers in 2025, who contributed more than 20,538 volunteer hours benefiting 29,618 people through education, health, disaster response and livelihood initiatives.
Environmental performance also improved during the year. The company said 63 percent of its energy consumption now comes from renewable sources, while carbon emissions intensity fell to 0.25 metric tons of CO₂ equivalent per employee, representing a 77-percent reduction from 2019 levels.
During Earth Hour 2025, TP sites nationwide saved more than 33,000 kilowatt-hours of electricity.
What's next
TP said its sustainability roadmap remains aligned with several United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, including good health and well-being, quality education, decent work and economic growth, industry innovation and partnerships for sustainable development. —Ed: Corrie S. Narisma
