VinFast and JIGA partner to expand EV service network in the Philippines

VinFast, a subsidiary of Vietnamese conglomerate Vingroup JSC, and JIGA, a leading dealer of mags and tires and provider of vehicle maintenance in the Philippines, have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to expand the network of service centers for VinFast electric vehicles across the country.

VinFast is Vietnam’s leading automotive manufacturer committed to building a green future for all through innovative and sustainable mobility solutions.

Aiming to establish more than 100 service workshops across the country by the end of 2025, VinFast and JIGA will work closely under the MOU to designate service centers as official VinFast service hubs in the Philippines. These service centers will handle repairs, warranty services, and maintenance of VinFast electric vehicles, including the provision of genuine spare parts.

Furthermore, VinFast commits to providing additional support through personnel training programs, technical consultation, and knowledge-sharing initiatives to ensure that these service hubs meet the company’s strict quality standards.

"Our collaboration with JIGA is a strategic step toward fulfilling VinFast's commitment to providing an optimal EV ownership experience for customers in the Philippines,” says Pham Sanh Chau, CEO of VinFast Asia. “We are confident that the combination of VinFast's green vision and JIGA's professional service network will mark a significant milestone in promoting sustainable transportation in this market."

For its part, JIGA— through its president, Michael Abanero— sees this undertaking as a step toward enhancing JIGA's service capabilities in the country while supporting the shift toward sustainable development, more so as the market for electric vehicles in the Philippines expands.

"Excited guid kami, tanan nga taga-JIGA, to work with VinFast," says Abanero, an Iloilo native. (We at JIGA are truly excited to work with VinFast)

Since officially entering the Philippine market in 2024, VinFast has introduced smart and eco-friendly electric vehicle models while demonstrating its long-term commitment through attractive sales policies and a steadily growing after-sales service network.

VinFast believes that partnering with established companies like JIGA allows it to optimize business operations, strengthen brand presence, and stay true to its customer-centric philosophy as it pursues its global expansion strategy.
