DENZA, the premium new energy vehicle (NEV) brand under China’s BYD Group, has confirmed its entry into the Philippine market.

BYD Philippines Corp. will serve as the local distributor, with DENZA’s official brand launch and initial model unveiling scheduled for the first quarter of 2026.

Local rollout plan

“The future of premium mobility isn’t defined by excess — it’s defined by intelligence. Nowadays, it is technology that truly drives elegance. And at DENZA, we see new energy vehicles as an opportunity to rethink how power, comfort, and sustainability can work together in a more thoughtful, human way,” said Adam Hu, BYD and DENZA Philippines country head.

The company said DENZA will bring a premium electrified lineup aimed at buyers seeking higher-end features and build quality.

Tech-led positioning

BYD said DENZA’s lineup will carry technologies such as the DiSus system and the e3 platform, which it claims improve ride comfort, handling, control, and safety.

The entry expands BYD’s footprint beyond mass-market electric vehicles as it targets the higher-priced segment of the local electrified mobility market.
