MPower to Supply Renewable Energy to JX Metals' Laguna Plant

MPower, the retail electricity supplier of Meralco, has partnered with JX Metals Philippines Inc. to provide renewable energy for the latter’s manufacturing plant in Biñan, Laguna.
This partnership will allow JX Metals to benefit from MPower's competitively priced renewable energy portfolio.
"MPower continues to build up its clean energy supply portfolio by partnering with greenfield RE power plants to meet the growing demand for renewable energy supply in the contestable market," said MPower's senior assistant vice president Eddie John Adug.
JX Metals president Michiya Kohiki expressed optimism about the partnership, emphasizing its role in promoting a sustainable economy.
Beyond power supply, MPower offers additional services through Meralco subsidiaries, enhancing value for JX Metals' operations.
