Casino veteran Gregory Hawkins takes over as acting COO of Razon's Bloomberry

Tycoon Enrique Razon Jr.'s Bloomberry Resorts Corp., the country’s largest integrated casino operator, has named Gregory Francis Hawkins as its acting chief operating officer (COO).

The board of directors approved the appointment on Feb. 21 this year, marking a key leadership shift following the abrupt departure of longtime president and COO Thomas Arasi last December. 

Bloomberry has yet to name an executive to take over as president of the casino giant. 

Hawkins, who currently heads Solaire North in Quezon City, will now oversee operations for both Solaire Entertainment City and Solaire North. 

A seasoned gaming executive, he previously served as CEO of City of Dreams Macau and held leadership roles at SKYCITY Entertainment Group and Crown Casino Melbourne.
