DigiPlus Interactive Corp. is making responsible gaming and corporate governance central to its long-term growth strategy, signaling a broader effort to define business expansion not only through new products but also through player protection and community impact.

The digital entertainment company recently introduced its "Entertainment for Good" framework, which it said will guide how it develops products, safeguards players, supports communities, and strengthens governance across its operations.

The framework, the company said in a release, is anchored on its new corporate vision of transforming "the world of entertainment for good."

Why it matters

The initiative consolidates programs that DigiPlus had already been implementing into a single corporate strategy, placing responsible gaming and governance alongside innovation as long-term business priorities.

"Guided by our 'Entertainment for Good' vision, we continue to invest in innovation and technology to deliver the best possible entertainment experiences for our customers while ensuring that our commitment to player protection, strong corporate governance, and positive community impact grows alongside our business," DigiPlus president Ping Chen said.

The details

DigiPlus said the strategy is built around four pillars: creating locally relevant entertainment experiences, promoting safe and responsible play, empowering communities, and reinforcing a culture of integrity.

Recent initiatives include the introduction of the Pinoy Drop Ball Turbo game on BingoPlus, ArenaPlus' partnership with the National Basketball Association in the Philippines, and collaborations with boxing icon Manny Pacquiao across ArenaPlus and GameZone.

On responsible gaming, the company said it continues to strengthen in-app player protection tools, expand its 24/7 customer support services, provide access to EmbracePLUS helplines, and maintain its industry-first surety bond program as an additional financial safeguard for players.

By the numbers:

Through the DigiPlus Foundation, the company said it spent P84 million on social programs in 2025, benefiting nearly one million Filipinos.

This year, initiatives have included supporting the Department of Information and Communications Technology's TechQuest National Robotics Challenge, donating disaster response equipment to the City of Manila, and providing more than P1.2 million in relief assistance to communities affected by the Southern Mindanao earthquake.

The other side

DigiPlus also highlighted governance initiatives, including integrating the ArenaPlus sportsbook with the Sportradar Integrity Exchange to help detect suspicious betting activity in real time. The company also published its 2025 Integrated Report, establishing an economic, environmental, social, and governance baseline ahead of its 2026 reporting cycle.

Bottom line

Rather than introducing a standalone corporate campaign, DigiPlus is consolidating innovation, responsible gaming, community investment, and governance under a single operating framework as it seeks to shape its next phase of growth. — Princess Daisy C. Ominga | Ed: Corrie S. Narisma
