Insider Spotlight
The Taiwanese technology company introduced its TUF Gaming T700 desktop series in the Philippines, offering a full-sized T700 and a space-saving T700 Mini. Both are MIL-STD tested and positioned for gamers who want factory-built systems capable of handling demanding workloads while providing room for longer-term use.
Gold-rated power supply
Gaming PCs can require significant upfront spending, putting greater emphasis on cooling, component longevity and the ability to upgrade hardware rather than replace an entire system.
The T700 uses an AMD Ryzen 7 8700F processor and comes with up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti GPU. Its thermal system combines four 65 CFM fans with a 240mm liquid cooler, while its modular layout and accessible internals are designed to simplify maintenance and future component upgrades.
ASUS is offering two T700 configurations. The RTX 5060 model carries an introductory price of P139,995, while the RTX 5060 Ti version costs P149,995. Both include 16GB of DDR5 memory, a 512GB SSD and a 1,000-watt Gold-rated power supply.
Reinforced frame
ASUS is also addressing gamers with limited desk space through the T700 Mini, which combines an Intel Core Ultra 5 225F desktop processor with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 graphics. A custom thermal matrix, copper heat pipes and a 90mm cooling fan manage heat inside its smaller chassis.
The company said the Mini's reinforced frame and reduced volume are intended to make the desktop easier to transport for LAN events and tournaments. Philippine pricing has yet to be announced, with availability expected in the coming months.
Long-term reliability
ASUS is pairing the hardware push with after-sales support. Its desktop PCs come with a three-year local warranty, access to more than 100 authorized service centers, local on-site service, up to six complimentary cleanings and a 14-day replacement window. —Vanessa Hidalgo | Ed: Corrie S. Narisma
