The company, formerly known as Leisure and Resorts World Corp., spent decades operating neighborhood bingo halls under the “Bingo Bonanza” brand before shifting aggressively into digital gaming during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Launched in January 2022, BingoPlus became the Philippines’ first interactive livestreaming digital bingo platform and helped DigiPlus transition from a traditional gaming operator into a digital-first entertainment company.
The big picture
What started as an online bingo platform has since evolved into a wider entertainment ecosystem spanning livestreamed games, arcade titles, card games, slots, casual gaming, and short-form video content.
According to a company release, DigiPlus also invested heavily in proprietary livestreaming studios and in-house game development capabilities as it expanded the platform’s lineup of localized games for Filipino audiences.
By 2023, BingoPlus was already offering more than 1,000 e-games, including “Perya” titles inspired by traditional Filipino carnival games.
Among its biggest hits was Pinoy Drop Ball, launched in 2024 as the country’s first livestreamed drop ball game. The title became one of the platform’s most-played games and reflected the company’s push toward locally themed digital entertainment.
Driving engagement
By 2025, DigiPlus said BingoPlus had grown into a platform serving tens of millions of users while maintaining more than 130 physical sites nationwide that also serve as payment and customer support touchpoints for digital users.
The company has also expanded its focus on responsible gaming initiatives alongside its rapid growth.
DigiPlus said BingoPlus strengthened features such as Time Control Settings and Spend & Loss Limits, while supporting the “Pusta de Peligro” campaign aimed at promoting safer gaming behavior.
The company added that it launched an industry-first surety bond program in 2025 that provides up to P1 million in coverage per verified player wallet, alongside expanded payment partnerships with BSP-accredited providers.
What’s next
“The BingoPlus transformation story was a leap of faith, but it was always driven by our strong commitment to our customers,” DigiPlus chair Eusebio H. Tanco said.
“Over the past four years, BingoPlus has grown into a platform deeply rooted in Filipino culture, with a mission to bring traditional Pinoy entertainment into the modern age.”
DigiPlus will mark the milestone through the fourth edition of BingoPlus Night on May 19, an annual gala event that has become the company’s flagship brand celebration.
