The company on Monday announced the availability of its 2026 ROG Strix G and Strix SCAR gaming laptop series, featuring upgraded display technology, next-generation Intel processors, Nvidia GeForce RTX 50 Series laptop GPUs, and redesigned cooling systems.

The 2026 ROG Strix G16 and G18 models feature 2.5K ROG Nebula displays with a 300Hz refresh rate, paired with up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 Processor 290HX Plus and Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 Laptop GPU configurations.
ASUS said the systems incorporate vapor chambers, Tri-Fan cooling, and liquid metal thermal solutions designed to reduce temperatures by up to 15 degrees Celsius.
For the flagship segment, the ROG Strix SCAR 18 includes what ASUS describes as the world's first 18-inch 4K 240Hz Mini LED laptop panel, alongside options reaching an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU. The model also introduces a thicker vapor chamber and upgraded airflow architecture aimed at sustaining performance under heavy workloads.
