DigiPlus CEO Tommy Hu represented the company at Meta Connect 2026, Meta’s annual technology event held in Menlo Park, California, on Sept. 23 and 24.
The company behind BingoPlus, ArenaPlus and GameZone said its participation allowed it to examine emerging technologies and global practices that could be relevant to its digital entertainment ecosystem.
“Our participation in Meta Connect 2026 provided us an opportunity to learn directly from one of the world’s leading technology companies and engage with global business leaders shaping the future of digital experiences,” Hu said.
Exploring new tools
Beyond the main conference, DigiPlus executives visited Meta’s headquarters for discussions and demonstrations covering gaming, real-money gaming, advertising products, WhatsApp Business and conversational commerce, Meta AI and Reality Labs.
The sessions gave DigiPlus a closer look at technologies and business solutions that could support its business development as it continues to expand its digital platforms.
“As DigiPlus continues to evolve its digital entertainment ecosystem, these engagements help us stay connected to emerging technologies and global best practices that can inspire how we innovate and shape the next phase of our business,” Hu said.
Meta Connect, the technology company’s flagship annual event, showcases developments across artificial intelligence, wearables and other digital technologies.
Emerging technologies
This year’s event included Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s annual keynote as well as demonstrations of the company’s latest technologies, including AI-powered products, smart glasses, virtual reality devices and new games.
Developer sessions led by Meta experts also examined how emerging technologies could be applied to new products and digital experiences.
The two-day gathering opened with a pre-keynote session hosted by Meta head of Global Business Group Nicola Mendelsohn alongside Meta product executives, council members and advertising partners. Discussions focused on developments shaping business and marketing.
DigiPlus said its participation forms part of efforts to strengthen ties with global technology companies and keep abreast of developments that could influence its growing digital entertainment business.
