Insider Spotlight
Galilea Gardens Hotel traces its roots to 2007, when it was established by a local cooperative as the Galilea Center for Education and Development.
The property began as a modest, community-led retreat featuring a six-room bungalow, a multi-purpose dining and seminar facility, and a native chapel serving both guests and students.
Why it matters
The hotel reached a major growth milestone in 2019 with the groundbreaking of seven additional buildings, expanding capacity to 136 beds across hotel, convention, training, and guest facilities.
The development also included a 1,000-square-meter swimming pool, reinforcing Galilea’s positioning as a destination that champions Boholano culture, history, and locally sourced products.
The agreement
On Jan. 28, 2026, Enderun Hotels formally marked the signing of a Pre-Opening Services Agreement and Full Management Contract with Galilea Gardens Hotel.
The partnership aims to strengthen operational systems, elevate service standards, and support sustainable, long-term growth.
