VITRO Inc., the data center arm of PLDT Enterprise, has partnered with Bounty to host its critical systems at VITRO Santa Rosa—an AI-ready hyperscale facility designed for high uptime, scalability, and security.
The move aims to strengthen Bounty’s digital backbone across its fully integrated operations, from farms and processing plants to distribution networks.
Driving the news
As one of the country’s largest poultry producers, Bounty operates in a fast-moving, time-sensitive environment where even minor disruptions can impact supply chains.
Its operations rely heavily on real-time data visibility to manage production, logistics, and inventory across multiple locations nationwide.
What they’re saying
“Our supply chain must never stop,” said Bounty president and CEO Kenneth Cheng. “Investing in resilient and future-ready digital infrastructure is essential to maintaining efficiency, quality, and long-term competitiveness.”
Chief information officer Warren Chase Uy said the partnership enables the company to centralize critical data in a secure, carrier-neutral facility that guarantees maximum uptime while improving end-to-end visibility.
“This strengthens our ability to maintain high standards from the farm all the way to the Filipino home,” Uy said.
The PLDT Enterprise–VITRO solution integrates Bounty’s entire ecosystem, covering subsidiaries and brands such as Chooks-to-Go and Bounty Plus.
This unified digital setup enhances coordination across production, distribution, and supply chain management—reducing inefficiencies and enabling faster decision-making.
Between the lines
The partnership reflects a broader shift among Philippine enterprises toward colocation and hybrid infrastructure as they deal with increasing operational complexity and data demands.
“We provide a secure, scalable digital ecosystem that enables industry leaders to innovate and operate without disruption,” said ePLDT and VITRO CEO Victor Genuino.
PLDT Enterprise FVP Vic Tria added that the collaboration includes connectivity and mobility solutions that keep operations running smoothly and teams connected nationwide.

Bounty is also ramping up investments in smart farming technologies, including AI-powered camera systems to predict optimal harvest weight, along with enhanced livestock monitoring, security, and compliance measures.
These innovations increase reliance on robust data infrastructure to protect mission-critical systems from risks such as outages and natural disasters.
How it works
By co-locating its disaster recovery infrastructure in VITRO Santa Rosa, Bounty gains access to redundant power systems, multi-layer physical security, and a carrier-neutral ecosystem.
This setup ensures business continuity while allowing the company to scale its operations alongside growing demand.
The bottom line
As digital transformation accelerates, resilient data infrastructure is becoming a cornerstone of business continuity—helping companies like Bounty safeguard operations while positioning for long-term growth. — Ed: Corrie S. Narisma
