The collaboration supports ePLDT’s push to make AI accessible to organizations regardless of their technical maturity, allowing businesses to innovate without the need for large or specialized engineering teams.
Lowering barriers to AI adoption for enterprises
“We want to make AI adoption less intimidating and more empowering. Through this partnership, we aim to deliver secure, no-code solutions that could help enterprises innovate with confidence, regardless of their technical expertise,” said Amil A. Azurin, chief commercial officer of ePLDT.
No-code deployment at the core
At the center of the offering is Capabara, Straits Interactive’s no-code GenAI platform that enables business users to build AI-powered chatbots without writing a single line of code.
Domain experts can convert their knowledge into user-ready AI applications, significantly reducing time-to-market and eliminating the need to build in-house AI and machine learning teams.
Privacy-by-design GenAI applications
One of Capabara’s flagship applications, DPOinBOX.AI, has been added to ePLDT’s AI portfolio.
Built for data protection officers (DPOs), the AI-powered assistant automates privacy risk assessments and compliance tasks, allowing organizations to use large language models (LLMs) without compromising data protection and regulatory standards.
Knowledge systems tailored for enterprises
Capabara also features a Knowledge System that allows enterprises to securely upload and query internal policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) using Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG).
This enables employees to receive instant, context-specific guidance based on company-approved documents.
Beyond technology deployment
In addition to technology, ePLDT and Straits Interactive will provide end-user training, consultancy, and ongoing support to help organizations adopt AI in a sustainable and meaningful way.
“Together with ePLDT, we are enabling organizations to thrive in a business landscape defined by GenAI,” said Alvin Toh, chief marketing officer of Straits Interactive.
Straits Interactive Philippines country manager Edwin Concepcion said the partnership aims to build a trusted AI ecosystem anchored on governance, enablement, and innovation.
Future-ready AI architecture
